The Alley is a runner for Dutch Electro as a surface-mounted fixture that can vary in length from 300mm to 1.5 meters, which makes it an extremely flexible product.

Challenge

The Alley deserves a new look. The runner was designed for fluorescent lighting but now needs an upgrade to follow the shape that matches LED fixtures.

Solution

The housing has been given a more modern look but still remains in line with the shape family of the old Alley. Due to its flatter shape, it was a challenge to be able to click the diffuser in and find space for the various switches.
